I began episodes of “Grass Dragons Exist!” on my blog. Then I stumbled on Kindle Vella, while checking out KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing). It’s relatively new, (launched in April of 2021) and has some unique methods for readers to find stories to read. I like the idea a lot. Therefore I decided to move Grass Dragons from my blog posts to Kindle Vella.
For the reader, the first three chapters are free, after that it requires tokens (Your first time on Vella you will be given 200 tokens) to read subsequent chapters/episodes. Once you read the chapter, scroll all the way to the bottom. There is an opportunity to like the episode and comment. You can also follow the story to get updates when the next episode/chapter is released.
The more readers and the more likes helps the story get more notice. Just like YouTube when they ask you to “like” and “subscribe“, I am asking for the same help! Help my work get noticed so I can publish more!
