A Writer Writes

Here it is, the end of July! Whaattt?? I started designing this website sometime this spring. I’m pretty pleased to have gotten this far. Oh yes, I have struggled through the learning process, but in my defense I am trying to shake the stereotype of old dogs and new tricks (just so you know I practiced with Carmen first and I am proud to announce that she presents her left paw as a broken chicken wing when I offer a delectable treat!)

Anyhow, I have the website up and running. I have pages with various themes. It’s still a work in progress. The challenge now, is to balance website management (and updates etc) with the actual purpose of creating. To that end, I retired from United Airlines last October, hoping to free up some time. Who knew that being retired is just as busy! Fortunately, alot of my busy, is creative work. So here are my goals…

A. Write a weekly Episodic tale.

B. Improve my drawing/painting type artwork and post a new drawing as regularly as possible

C. Continue to view the world through my camera and capture the magic I find with my lens.

D. and most importantly, finish and publish my novels.

All of that should keep me busy for the next fifty years! (and hopefully add some income to my coffers!) I should also add that I hope to maintain my blog with my current project. We’ll see how that goes. For now, it’s time to dive in to my latest novel and give it my full attention.
